Fukuoka Tues 28th Nov. 7.9-22°C, clear and sunny.

Had a nice day off relaxing, went for a 2k stroll to Hakata Port tower. Some interesting displays inside the ground floor.

Free entry to the observation deck, nice views of Fukuoka City and the port area out to the islands. Mesh in the windows makes photography difficult.

Bought some sushi from the seafood market, ¥97 per piece, selected from a variety on ice, enough to feed two of us for ¥1,100 or so. Made from seafood caught last night, it was pretty good.

Enjoying a latte and apple danish on the 2nd floor of Tully's, watching people heading home after work. Coffee's not bad, although it seems the tide's out.
