Drove from the Albert Lea – Austin KOA Minnesota to Pine Country Thousand Trails in Belvidere Illinois. Yay for a free night of camping. Having to pay tolls to drive on the roads made up for it. This is the start of paying tolls in a lot of the states. We got a I pass which is the Illinois version of the ez pass which is accepted in 13 states. It sure makes paying tolls easier. They also give you a discount on the tolls in most states so that helps a little. We went into town and looked around and ate dinner at Moscato’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant. It was a tiny little place that did mostly take out. Food was OK and reasonable in price.
