Rosie & Harley "The girls"

Snow in the mountains (taken from back deck) during the morning

Weather front arriving in afternoon

Tuesday 5 September 2017

Our last day in Canberra for this trip and they turned on the weather for us!

Woke to snow on the distant mountains and ice on the deck railings, but the sun was also trying to appear.

A quiet day inside seems to be the best option. Neil still walked Rosie & Harley before setting off for work.

Judy had a couple of things to do, so we set off with her to the coffee bean shop and then to the Hyperdome. Had a look at a lovely picnic/swimming area on the way to the Hyperdome at Pine Island. A great recreation area when the weather is warmer than today!

Headed back home for lunch and a quiet afternoon.

We tidied up our things and packed some into the car, ready for our departure tomorrow. Just got that done in time before we had a few "showers" of sleet. Interesting to watch the change in the mountains out to the west.

Tonight is dog training night, but everyone is at home, deciding to leave that adventure to anyone else who may like to brave the elements.

The wind has been quite gusty here, but worse in other parts. Might be an interesting trip back to Bowral tomorrow. At least we won't be towing a van!!
