Looking down on Terrigal Haven

Monday 21 August 2017

A quieter night wind wise and everyone slept well. Had several showers during the evening, but the rain cleared to a fine but cloudy day and a little warmer than yesterday.

Had a nice coastal drive to Davistown to visit friends (Robyn & Gary) who we met on a Kimberley trip many years ago. Enjoyed morning tea at their place and then we all lunched at the RSL. Enjoyed a great catchup reminiscing, and many laughs were had. They are well setup in a retirement village and enjoying the lifestyle.

Headed back to Bateau Bay via Terrigal where we climbed to the top of the Skillion for spectacular views to Avoca Beach to the south and over Terrigal Beach to the north. This area is known as Terrigal Haven.

Back at our vans, we enjoyed a cup of tea together before setting off along the beach for a late walk before retiring for the night.

A very enjoyable day.
