It's nearing the end of our time in Chiang Mai.
We got some city time in a couple days ago. Went for a long run in the eastern part of the city where Josh used to live! Then had lunch, visited Wat Phra Singh (the most well known temple inside the Wall), and went to a Khantoke dance performance. We had a Northern Thai dinner seated on the floor while watching traditional Thai dances on stage.
Yesterday we took a group tour out to Doi Inthanon National Park. We saw two very impressive waterfalls, walked around the top of the mountain, which is the highest point in Thailand, visited the White Karen hilltribe village, saw the King and Queen Pagodas, and finished off the day at the Royal Project farm market.
We check out in just a little bit, get a few more hours in the city, and then board our sleeper train back to Bangkok. Then we'll make our way out to another island, Koh Samet!
