Bill in Oxford

Lunch at a 17th century pub

Christ Church College

Great Hall at Christ Church College

Gardens at Christ Church College

There was a delay on the motorway while enroute to Oxford so we had an abbreviated visit to the Ashmolean Museum where we saw a very interesting display of money used around the word since about 600 AD. There was also a detailed exhibit explaining the techniques used to restore and preserve the priceless artifacts.

Lunch was at a 17th century pub where we had the best fish and chips on the trip so far. From there we had a tour of Christ Church College, one of 38 colleges which comprise Oxford University. Check the photo of the Great Hall which was the model for the hall in the Harry Potter movies.
