Dry dock?

Wild horses

I have been having trouble with my Tablet battery lately so it was flat as a tack yesterday and I couldn't update.

We went to New Forest and had a look around.

The tide was out when we went to this little harbour!

We went to a place called "Buckler's Hard" which was once a hive of shipbuilding activity on the Beaulieu Ri er, providing ships for Nelson's Navy. There is a fantastic Maritime Museum there and some of the old cottages.

The road runs through the New Forest and as we were driving back to go to our hotel the horses that roam free decided to get frisky and charge across the road in front of us.

Lots of fun. !

When I went to pay to get in the place I handed over a £5 note - only to be told that it was an old note and no longer legal tender so they are unable to accept them! Here we go again - someone had given it to me in some change during the week unbeknownst to me. So they tell me the banks will swap it! We'll see!
