Tony, Tam and Ian at The Plough Hotel, Footscray

Ian, Lorraine and Tony at The Plough Hotel, Footscray

9/5/2017. Melbourne (Seddon)

Today we said goodbye to Sue and Bob and moved on to stay with Tony and Tam. We've had a lovely couple of days, and now look forward to catching up with our son and fiancée.

We had to travel from one side of Melbourne to the other, but using the ring road made it easy - but I was only the passenger, so it's all easy to me!

Tony and Tam were at work, so we let ourselves into the house and by the time we'd unloaded and sorted ourselves out in 'our' bedroom, I only had time to iron half a dozen shirts for Tony and then they were home!!!!! It's sort of a joke me and Tony's shirts - it's something I can do, so I do it.

They had booked dinner at a local pub they wanted to try out, and it was lovely. The food was great, it was quite noisy, and although the service was a little slow, the waiter looked after us well. We did enjoy it, and had a lovely time together. I would go back.

It's not as cold as we expected.
