Cyn getting ready for a tough afternoon of floating on the lazy...

The drive to Las Vegas was one of those through the middle of the country. Once we got to Dallas and were delayed by the strong winds in west Texas, gave us a chance to spend some more time with Mikes Aunt and Uncle. We finally go tired of waiting and went up into the panhandle of Texas and headed west on I-40. The winds were still strong, 25-30 mph but at least they were blowing straight into us. Great for the gas mileage. Some of the attached pictures give you and idea just how little there is from Texas up to Las Vegas.

We arrived and stayed in Las Vegas for a few days, long enough to celebrate our 51 years of marriage. Cyn says she should get an award. We will have to see.
