Satoru and Mumi

Come here little guy

They don't look good, and don't taste good either

How about some liver sashimi?

I should be paid for this.

Mumi doesn't like it either

I love that Satoru's bright smile

Lamb Chops and I

After visiting Hiroshima for a few hours I continued on to Fukuoka/Hakata. Once two separate towns the two merged to create a single city. The airport in Fukuoka, but the train station is Hakata. Satoru, a friend of a good friend, was kind enough to pick me up at the station and show me around for a couple of days. We spent a lot of time eating and drinking in Satoru's bar an hour outside of Fukuoka. He was bent on making me try the most unusual of Japanese cuisine. I tried littlie crabs by pulling them out of their shelf with a needle and liver sashimi. I'm glad I did it, but there will be no repeat performance.

Thanks Satoru and good luck with your new venture.
