Visitng with John and Irmgard

Seattle

We had decided to stay one night in Seattle on the way home not knowing how long it would take through customs and not wanting to get caught in Orange County airport's curfew. So we sailed through customs, picked up a car, checked into the hotel and were having dinner by 7pm! Thursday morning was leisurely as we were meeting John and Irmgard for lunch and our final flight home was not until 6:45pm. We caught up with John and Irmgard at Salty's overlooking downtown Seattle - beautiful view, delicious lunch and great conversations. After lunch we found a Starbucks where we camped out for a couple hours to work on the blog - then it was off to the airport for our final leg home! Another great trip that left us wanting to return to see Iceland in a little more light and preferably with less rain. JC
