Sawmill Cafe

Rainy day

I have to mention this cafe that we stopped at in Forrest City, Arkansas. We took a chance with the lunch buffet there and were rewarded with and outstanding home cooked meal. True southern cooking at its finest. Fried chicken, potatoes and gravy, hominy, and everything in between which we both loved. After lunch we waddled back to the motorhome and could have taken a nap! We made record time to Houston where we wanted to look at a motorhome at PPL consignment lot. We were excited to see this RV and were sadly disappointed upon seeing it. I had to keep looking at the pictures and then the motorhome itself and couldn't believe it was the same motorhome. On to Harlingen where we overnighted at the Sam's Club. We fueled up there too with diesel at 2.14/gal. Then in the morning we drove the 8 miles to La Feria, VIP RV park. We've had great weather but hot with temps in the 90s. No wind, unusual. Rain on the 7th. Thanks for reading.
