Going South in Spring 2016 travel blog

Late start today after a cold night. The sun was mostly out and so was the cold wind. We walked across the road to the Railway Museum. The line closed at the end of the 80's and the community took over the station nearly immediately. As such the station looks like it was still working. Plenty for the boys to climb and see.

We then walked into town and visited George Woolnough's saddlery and Henry Parkes museum at the old School of Arts. We had a quick snack at the local bakery and perused some of the other stores. A stop at the local art gallery saw us see a painting we liked but a bit too expensive. Back to the caravan park in the afternoon for a lazy afternoon. Still too cold for 'northeners' like us.
