|We were up and away early and spent 14 hours on the turck - to Jina. A late arrival meant pitching tents in the dark and Nat and Kaz cooked the dinne.
We had an early start the following morning and another 14 hours on the truck. We stopped at the obligaotry hoto stop - the equator line and then continued our journey. The truck stopped (yet again - poor old Pongo!!) but whilst Eddie was fixing the problem we had a football game with the local kids which was awesome! A late arrival in Lake Bunyonyi foun us on horrendous roads and dirty filters in the truck which meant we had to walk up the hill and meet the truck at the top - it was pitch black just to make it really easy!
We had a sleep in the following morning before continuing to Kisoro which was a 5 hour drive (appros 50kms) over mountains on a dirt road - its the only road to get to the Congo. We got in about 2pm and had lunch and beverages (after email crashed). A few too many beers later, I went to bed about 10/11pm.
