Aug 1-2 - Cornerbrook & Pasadena
The drive was mainly a divided hwy, the terrain was rolling, you drive up and then down, not step, just long.
This terrain reminded me of the Fraser Canyon on the Hope side, and changing to Salmon Arm area, as all of the hills/mountains are covered with trees and the fields covered in grass and hay.
We picked up a few things at Walmart, and got water at the Dollar Store.
Arrived at Jim & Dot's place in Pasadena around 2 pm and got parked, Jim's is a fellow I worked with back in PG.
We have a great visit and Jim the master, at barbecue's, feed us well, Halibut, steak, ribs enough to feed an army!!
We also, did a few loads of laundry.
Pat got a haircut - $23 with tip, very reasonable.
Walked around town and down to the beach. Most of the homes out here are modest size,
although Jim reno'd his with some classy tile and hardwoods.
