Dinner and a beer with Marty Bragdon, a USS Graham County shipmate

We have long recognized that camping in the northeast can be a bit of an expensive proposition. so, we are trying something new: Harvest Hosts. For a minimal fee we are now part of this club that enables us to park for free at many locations: mainly wineries and farms. it is supposed to be only one night, and there are no hookups. So we are prepared to boondock. Our first experience is at an Alpaca farm. The owners were terrific offering us an electric hookup (only 15 amps, but enough to run the refrigerator and TV). Interesting animals and the owners were very gracious.

One evening we caught up with an old shipmate of mine from the USS Grahman County days: Marty Bragdon.
