Forgot to put a photo in my first journal entry. Check out Stu and Val's Stick Men--cute little stick men of each of our Armed Services and Uncle Sam. Stu and Val are traveling Elks, and set these guys in the parking lot. Uncle Sam is $50.00. the others are $40.00 ea. Contact them at dunnaero@aol.com.

July 13--We left Modesto, made a fuel stop, and continued to Auburn, CA arriving noon-thirty. Got checked into Auburn Gold Country RV Park, with a pull-thru, 50AMP full hook up site. My sister Lori lives here and we're making a short visit.

July 14--Janet left Auburn in the Honda and drove to Quincy to help daughter-in-law Michele prepare for a weekend garage sale. Lori had to babysit one of her grandkids, so Peter and I hung out. Out to dinner with Lori and Peter for a wonderful Thai meal.

July 15--On the third Friday morning of each month, Peter's fishing club has a breakfast meeting at the Elks lodge. Guest speaker, raffle prizes (oh--just missed), and a great comfort food meal. Back to the rig and on the road to Quincy by 10:30AM.

And the adventure continues,
