1935 Ford Pickup

Today we visited Flint, MI - The birthplace of General Motors, and the home of Buick.

We went to the Sloan Museum, which is at Applewood, The C.S. Mott Estate.

It just so happened that today was the 44th Annual Sloan Museum Auto Fair.

WOW, hundreds of antique automobiles were on display. Not just cars, but also motorcycles, tractors, fire trucks, and police cars.

One special vehicle of note was a 1940 Buick Pickup. Only 4 of these pickup trucks were made and all were kept and used for utility service at the Buick plant.

This was the largest auto show we have ever attended. Lynd loved every minute of it.

Tomorrow is a travel day as we move down to Ohio. We plan to visit the US Air Force Museum in Dayton on Monday.
