|We got on the road around 7 am heading towards Tok via Destruction Bay. I'd heard stories about the road around Destruction Bay being poor and they weren't lying. As soon as we passed the place the frost heaves were more severe and frequent. Then came the sign that said construction next 47 km. Yikes. It was pretty bad. Dusty, rough, washboard, frequent stops waiting on the pilot truck to guide you through. Yes, they work on Sunday. Before that we got to see some bears! (pic) That was neat. Karen spotted a moose in a lake but I couldn't get stopped in time to see it. We pulled into a rest area and a lady told us we had a flat tire on the Tracker. It wasn't flat but low, I aired it up and thought it was OK. We got back on the road an in a little bit I looked back and saw pieces of tire flying around. Got stopped and put on the spare, it was low too, aired it up and am hoping it holds till Tok.
