Jen on the munch buggy - the cruisiest job in Port!

While it was a bit colder and wintery down in NSW, we were in the tropical paradise that is Port Douglas. We arrived and once again landed on our feet by landing a job within a few days. We decided to turn our hands to a spot of housekeeping (Sam looked great in an apron) and were working for a top bloke called Craig (AKA Genie) cleaning all sorts of lovely holiday homes and apartments. We quickly made friends with our colleagues and it's probably been one of the best jobs we've had since being in Oz. We also scored some work at functions in the evenings and between the two jobs we were never short of food or booze. We camped for a bit before moving into a little unit and with Four Mile beach as our back garden we were living the life - working hard, and playing hard. A few of our mates from our fruit picking days were also in town making it even better. We stayed in town for around 10 weeks and thoroughly enjoying it before we had a row with a neighbour (mad crack head Lynny), ended up calling the police, getting her busted, making a statement and moving out! he he - it cant all be plain sailing hey... :-))
