On the Road Again-MacRea's RV adventures travel blog

We landed at the Petaluma KOA while the house was in escrow and plan to stay here awhile. While in Petaluma waiting for the house to close escrow, we took a bus tour of SF. Having lived most of our lives in SF, it was surprising to see some areas on the tour that we hadn't been to while living our lives there. Some highlights of the tour: of course the Golden Gate Bridge, the view from the observation deck of the De Young Museum, lunch at Scomas at Fisherman's wharf, the Height-Ashbury area, Pacific Heights with all its views, & finally the view of downtown from the GGBridge.

We have a few more weeks here at the KOA and plan to explore this area while we wait for escrow to close. Drove to Sonoma one day to walk the square and lunch at the Depot Hotel Restaurant...a great find away from the square and not so touristy. The food was excellent and the outdoor patio dining is not to be missed.

Other excursions: American Graffiti at Petaluma, lunches in Santa Rosa & Bodega Bay.

Yeah! Escrow closed and we are now free to travel. Picked up a Road Master tow dolly at Camping World in Vacaville for Indi that took most of the day. With business done, we checked out of the KOA on 6/20/2016 and headed up north on Hwy 101 to Fort Bragg, CA.
