on the road again

Up early a walk around the camp area, some breakfast and to fix a lunch, some a the group head off for a rafting trip, other head to the water falls near San Gil, and I head off to explore the small town of Barichara about 25 minutes by bus. I get into town have a nice walk around the town, then head off down a rocky trail to the village of Guane it is a hike of 5.5 km but down hill most of the way, during the whole hike I don't see another person just some cows and a few goats, was a nice walk overcast day so not real hot took 1 hour and 45 minute Once in Guane I walk around the village it is a very small one only seeing about a 12 people I checked out the church and saw the bus heading back to Barichara so I jumped on. Took the bus back to near our camp site a short walk and back in camp, a nice cold beer then started paring for dinner is my group to do it tonight, we fixed pasta with vegetables and chicken cooked with wine to go on top, with some cake to finish it off with. a few beers and off to bed.
