You always hear how gorgeous Aruba is and the friends, Keith and Patty Lindsey (Washington, D.C, we had met during our Cancun trip had traveled here 18 times and are on Aruba's tourism website! Aruba is nicknamed 'One Happy Island' because everyone is so friendly and carefree there. We had booked ourselves on a Jeep Safari with ABC Tours through Trip Advisor that included a visit to Aruba’s Natural Pool and Baby Beach on a unique off-road 4WD adventure to the island’s top natural attractions and traversing the rugged terrain of Arikok National Park. We saw the Natural Bridge and ended up spending a few hours at Eagle Beach. Lunch and water were provided. Once we hit the back roads to get to the Guadirikiri historic caves and the Natural Pool, we were shocked at how barren it all looked; very similar to the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. It was hot and dusty but, a lot of fun. The only disappointment is that it was a windy day and the group voted to skip going into the Natural Pool on the advice of the tour guide and we made up the time at Eagle Beach. Hence no review on Trip Advisor. During the drive back, we found a neat little 'ranch' surrounded by a cactus fence which was for sale if you are interested. The sand was like white powder; gorgeous. Back to the ship to hook up with all of our friends at the martini bar and our
favourite bartender Marko! He would always yell out 'Polo!' when people called to him. After martinis, a night of disco dancing on the pool deck.
