The view from Teddy's Lookout

This bloke was up at Teddy's Lookout too. Usually all you find...

The rotunda where Mum sat on Dad's shoulders & wrote our name...

The view from Site 20 Queen's Park

Installed for the rest of the week at Queen's Park

One of the first places I wanted to go to was Teddy's Lookout & was told that there was still a walking track from Queen's Park caravan park which is where we used to stay. I drove to Queen's Park but couldn't find the track, however I noticed there were a few camps there although it didn't show as available on-line.

I drove to Teddy's Lookout & admired the amazing view then I went to the caravan park office & found out that Queen's Park was open & I could get Site 20 for the rest of my stay. It was a lot of work but I packed up & then found out that getting into this site with a 20 foot caravan was much harder than with the small van we had back then.

There wasn't a soul around, which was good & after several different attempts, I finally got into the site. I've decided that if I can park here, I can manage any site in Australia - it just takes a bit of patience.

It's worth it though. I can listen to the ocean instead of traffic & as far as I can see, I've pretty much got the place to myself. Now I'm going to take the rest of the afternoon off, read my book & enjoy the view.
