Cocopah RV Resort

After several hectic days of downsizing, packing, etc., we are finally heading to Mesa to complete the trade of our DRV Mobile Suites 5th wheel trailer. Nancy did most of the heaving lifting, organizing an packing. I had to work last Sunday and Monday and had little time to help.
We departed Yuma shortly after 8:00 am for the four trip to Mesa. We had great weather for the trip and the road conditions were good. I did notice that the rig was much lighter towing.
We arrived at the Desert Autoplex RV dealership shortly after noon. The service yard was full of other RV's and we were not able to park side by side to transfer our "stuff." I was expecting that the transferring of stuff would take a couple of hours. It turned out to be four hours and we were exhausted. The dealership finally completed the paperwork but now could not find the keys to our Airstream and they misplaced our temporary vehicle tags. Geez.....!
We finally pulled out of the dealership at 6:00 pm and headed to a nearby RV Resort located just a few miles down the road. We pulled up to the gate and they had us drive to the office to register. Being after usual business hours we were delayed with temporary workers doing their best. We were escorted to our site and had to back into a small narrow site.
I handled this okay and once on site Nancy started to make sense of the inside whole I unhitched and hooked up to water and electric. After figuring out how to use the microwave/convection over we heated up a couple of frozen pizzas and went to bed. We were both exhausted.
