Rainbow over Ceduna

Sunset at Ceduna

Monday 21 September 2015

A very relaxed day in Ceduna. We have not had a lot of "down time" days, so appreciate them when they come along.

Spent a couple of hours wandering around town, as small as it is. A great outdoor-come-everything shop which occupied about an hour of our time, and also some dollars!

Before we ventured up town, we did washing, dusting and floor cleaning! Feels good now, but it won't be long before we are living in the "dust zone" again.

After lunch back at the vans, we spent the afternoon putting everything back in order, meeting new neighbours and doing some preparations for moving on tomorrow. Managed to get the broken stabiliser leg on Gary's van repaired with the help of a caravan neighbour who had just repaired one on his!!!

Had a late walk down to the beach and on the jetty, and it was very cold! Think the breeze is coming off the Antarctic! Braved the chill to watch the sunset over the jetty, and then headed to the fish and chip shop for dinner. A very enjoyable meal of King George whiting, chips and salad. Very pleased the manager of the park recommended it to us.

Enjoyed the walk back to the park, a chat to the Manager, and now all warm and settled for the night.
