We are now in the midst of a week-long stay at the Manessa International Campground in Manessa, NY. It was only a couple of hundred mile trip from Freeport south to I-83 then north for about 70 miles before heading west on state highways. It was a pretty drive.

We are sitting near the St. Lawrence Seaway close to the Canadian Border. It’s a nice campground and we are in an open spot with excellent satellite access.

Nearby are Robert Moses State Park, The Eisenhower Lock, and the Robert Moses Power Dam. We visited all of them. We were particularly lucky to catch the Canadian vessel, Tecumseh, passing through the lock. We also learned a great deal visiting the exhibits at the dam.
