Campsite #5

Typical landscape here in PEI

Day Two in PEI was a relaxing experience. Amberley and I started the day with a beach view workout and run and then we spent the morning at the beach reading, Emma doing some sketching and post cards and Cole flying the kite again. (No, still not really beach weather, but we roughed it out) We were off to New Glasgow for lobster dinner and stopped in at Mary's Bakery for some treats, because everyone knows how much the Cinti family loves dessert! Our camp ground for tonight was a very quaint and (in our opinion) 5 star campground in New Glasgow. Privately owned by a friendly and kind couple name Les and Margaret. They even provided a ride to and from our supper, which wasn't very far away, but straight up a very long and steep hill. Not a trip we wanted to make after a lobster dinner. 3 of us all tried the lobster thing with much success. I'll leave it to you to guess who didn't. The day ended with a swim and a fire with s'mores.

We are off to Avonlea today to experience Anne of Green Gables and then we take an early morning ferry to Nova Scotia to continue our adventures there.

Until then friends. Enjoy
