Old Hong Kong theme

Visited the theme park with family.

Ocean Park - Aberdeen, Hong Kong

This theme park was a hit with my family. The cable car rides alone are worth the price of admission into the theme park (adult HKD 350). You should bring your umbrella here as it will not only shield you from rain but the Chinese creatively use umbrellas as protection from the sun - it works great (better than sweaty hats/caps). There's just so much to do here which is both educational and fun such as visiting sea lions, riding ferris wheels and roller coasters, watching the sharks and fish, and getting a bird's eye view of everything. My absolute favorite were the cable cars that took you across the park. The view from the cable car of the mountain, water, and park was outstanding. I also enjoyed the "old Hong Kong" themed streets which is a new addition to the park. There were lots of foods to try, merchandise to purchase and interesting replicas to look at as visitors could walk down memory lane. This is one park well worth getting the season pass.
