We had breakfast and got on the road this morning, up the I15, stopping in Helena for Diesel and at a rest area where there were plaques about all the missiles that were deployed in Montana during the cold war. Apparently there are still 150 Minuteman missiles deployed in the state and ready for use.
We arrived in Shelby in time for lunch. Got checked in and set up then had a long, leisurely lunch before going into town for propane for the barbecue and a few other necessities.
The campground is under a hill on top of which are memorial flags to US military personnel and the Veterans Memorial Highway (I15). The area seems very windy, so the flags fly to their fullest extent all the time.
We came back to the trailer and had a late (for us) dinner before tidying up and relaxing.
Tomorrow is the day of rest we had planned for today, so will not do too much before crossing the border into Canada on Tuesday. We have a lot of fruit to consume before then!
