Our traditional stop at hedgehogs at Berry

This was our week away at lake Conjola for 2016. Weather was "iffy at start of week" but improved towards end with the last day being perfect. We made good use of our wetsuits we got for Christmas though- Dean and Logan being only ones without!

The kyak was a hit again and we did manage to fit both girls and two adults on board but next year they may be too big for that many and will have to go one at a time. Steve and I went for some very long paddles which we enjoyed as very quiet and peaceful. A day could not go by without the traditional afternoon ice-cream trip. Several days we went down to the caravan park as the swimming down there was lovely. Even the beach was good. This year there were many more lorikeets and feed to purchase. Ice-creams plus bird feeding have now become the tradition. We were disappointed at first with the colour of the water this year. They have had so much rain it was a dirty brown colour from run off but by the end of the week on some tides it was back to its usual blue/ turquoise colour.

We again enjoyed our gourmet barbecues and many are on strict diets since returning home.Dean played Wii games each afternoon with the kids and as we prepared dinner (on rosters) he was usually serenading us with guitar and song. There were some good video clips of Wii dancing but haven't worked out how to upload them as yet.

We love our time down there and the kids were looking forward to it for months.
