|Well we finally made it into a new year. We spent New Years Eve with the people here in the park. They had a nice dance with a DJ and snacks. We all toasted each other with champaign to bring in the new year. The weather has been a little chilly and rainy the temp in the 40's. It is still better than the snow and ice that family and friends are reporting to us from MI, not to mention the frigid temps of below zero.
We continue to enjoy the activities offered here in the park. It is fun to enjoy all the different dishes that are brought to the weekly potluck dinner on thurs. nights. I can't wit to share some of their recipes with everyone when we get home. We also have been thoroughly been enjoying the seafood down here. It is amazing and the best part is that it is also pretty cheap. Paul is very excited to be able to go golfing every Monday with the golf league here in the park. I have learned a new craft called swedish weaving. I am currently making a lap blanket in red, white and blue. So far it looks pretty cool.
Not much else going on as the weather is prohibiting us from much sightseeing but the forecast looks like some warm weather is on its way. Yay!!!!!!!!!! More later.
