A pretty walk through the bush

Mummuga lake

The forest walk

We woke up to a blue sky and sunshine. After breakfast we decided to walk to the Mummuga Lake. We didn't get very far as the lake was coming to us. So much water flowing along and across the path. We have decided to stay here for another night and have a rest day from driving.

What a gorgeous day. This morning we watched Brian Houston at Hillsong LA. He has been through so much.

The birds are singing and the kookaburras are calling. The magpies come to check us out.

This afternoon we went back to the track to see what the water was doing. It was still running quite fast but David the intrepid explorer would not take no for an answer. He put some wood down and we were able to get up the side of the water and up on to the track. This track is about a three kilometre loop and goes down to the lake through some lovely forest area. This whole park is in the Eurobodalla National Park. It is a beautiful walk through some lovely forest and the lake Mummuga is quite big. We really enjoyed it. It is so peaceful here even though the highway is not far.
