Girls Only to India: Shimla & Rajasthan Royals travel blog

The end of an amazing and magical trip!

We have seen such a tiny part of this vast sub-continent. It leaves you wanting more despite the huge contrasts and obvious issues it has to deal with, But what country in the world does not have it's own particular problems?

The people we have met have been so welcoming and friendly and that will definitely be a lasting memory for me.

3 weeks away however, does mean I am looking forward to going home and seeing all the family. It was a poignant last week having heard of the loss of Harry, my lovely Dad-in-Law. I am saddened that I will not get the chance to tell him of my adventures in India. He served there and in Burma during the 2nd World War and got a real taste for curry there!
