Rambling Rodericks travel blog

On our way to western Montana, we stayed the night at a Flying J truck fuel stop. We walked across the street to have dinner at a diner which served a variety of foods prepared with the locally farm red wheat. When the evening coolness arrived, we bedded down with the sounds of trucker's diesel trucks running. When we do these types of over night stays, at Flying J or Love's or Shell's America's best truck travel centers, or at Walmart, we do not unhook the truck, do not hook up to any power or water, and do not put out the slide rooms. We have use of our refrigerator, our bedroom and bathroom. That's all we can get to while the slide rooms are in. We sit on the stairs to the bedroom or on the folding stool Dan won at the nightly raffle at the Escapade.
