Keystone Canyon

Mt. Witherspoon (12,011 ft) from Thompson Pass

Worthington Glacier

Mt. Wrangell

We left Valdez at 7:20 this morning. What a beautiful drive the A-1 was between Glenallen and Tok. From high elevation plateaus to mountain ranges on either side of the hwy. The snow capped Mt. Wrangell (14,160 ft) and Mt. Sanford (16,237 ft) were stunning.

We pulled into the Sourdough Campground at 1:30 just in time for the sky to open up and pour rain. Got the last pull-thru site they had. All the rest are reserved for a caravan coming in later today. Going to stay here a couple of days and go up to Chicken tomorrow.
