A Travel Day:

We departed Grand Forks, ND by 9:15 A.M. and headed south on I-29.

The traveling conditions today were very good. Good road conditions, light traffic and no wind. We made good time, stopping just once for our lunch break at the first South Dakota Rest Area crossing from North Dakota.

We arrived at the Wylie Campground in Aberdeen, SD at 2:30 P.M. Check-in was very efficient and we were set up on our site in no time. We will be here just for one night, so camp set up was very light.

We traveled a distance of 267 miles in 5.25 hrs. Not much else to report on our travel day.

We really enjoyed our visit to North Dakota and it was great spending some time with Jake & Melisa.

Tomorrow is another travel day. We will be continuing south on Hwy 281 to Kennebec, SD
