Hi! Since our last posting we spent 2 nights in Canyonville, OR at 7 Feather's RV Park and Casino. The RV park is one of the finest with lush landscaping and large, well spaced sites.

We three visited Millsite Mercantile in nearby Myrtle Creek (population 3,500 2.51 sq mi), one of our favorite antique stores. I found a fossilized sponge for $5, a flying fish salt and pepper set $2.80 and a baggie of beach glass for $3. The beach glass may not be authentic sea glass but it's pretty.

We walked Bear through Myrtle Creek's community park. This town reminds me of a West Coast Mayberry. We discovered the Rustic Rooster, a new quilt store with an interesting story. The owner always wanted to have a quilt store and after 30 years of child care she and her husband created a store packed full of wonderful fabrics, patterns and quilts!

We overnighted in Red Bluff, CA and arrived Friday at Jackson Rancheria RV Resort and casino, Saturday's outing was to Sutter Creek (pop 2,500 2.558 sq mi) and Amador City (pop 150). We perused the shops and the farmer's market and came home with fresh picked peaches and nectarines and a few small mementos.

We briefly met our next door neighbor, an 81 year old gentleman who arrives at this RV park every Saturday to gamble at the casino. He arrived late this morning, caught the shuttle to the casino and 90 minutes later we saw his 45 foot motorhome depart.. Interesting. Maybe his luck was not with him at the casino.

This is our final post this trip as we are well on our way home with only Pismo Beach and Seal Beach on our itinerary. We'll walk the beach at Pismo and visit Mom and Scott's sister in Seal Beach and then it's home, sweet home.
