Thursdays haven't been so great for kayaking because the weather seems to go bad on that day of the week. We found a new place kind of close to home and sheltered from the wind in Cape Coral, just north of Matlacha. We put in at the Burnt Store Boat Launch on Burnt Store Road, and kayaked the canal out to the mangroves on the east side of the bay.

It was a good paddle with a few nice finds, as evidenced by these pictures.
