The Clayton's Travels travel blog

We had showers (hot this morning after two days of cold showers!) and did a load of washing. When we paid our bill we received a 10% discount and they didn’t charge us for the first two days of WiFi, so we paid €84 for 4 nights. After saying our goodbye’s to Don and Sandy who are staying a few more days at Torremolinos, and Albertine and Glenn who are heading to Marbella, we set off at mid-day for La Linea.

We paid 3 tolls totalling €9.70 on this trip and it wasn’t long before it started to rain which was particularly annoying when we couldn’t find the camping ground with the GPS co-ordinates we had. We found a Carrefour in town where we stopped for a few supplies, and then drove round three times in circles, stopping to ask locals a couple of times and finally having a stroke of luck to find an Englishwoman at a bus stop who directed us to Camping Sureuropa (N36°11'34" W 5°20'01"). The pitches are a bit tight but we managed to get Homer set up about 4pm and the rain cleared an hour and a half later.
