Lily and I admiring Black Jack just before I was given the...

The official hand over take over of Black Jack.

Elissa the paperwork genius and I just before I rode out.

Lily and I left the Rockhampton are and headed to Brisbane for the festive season with my children and grand children.

On the way down we stopped in at Hervey Bay. When we finish our travels Hervey Bay is probably the place we will settle. It is known affectionately as the place of the 'newly weds or the nearly dead's' due to the large number of retirees. Of course we are neither but it is still a great place. Lots of fishing and relaxing.

In Brisbane we had a very important Christmas present for Lily and I to pick up. Yes you guessed it - Black Jack.

Black Jack was sent up from Sydney to Gasoline Alley Harley Davidson, the Harley dealer in Slacks Creek just south of Brisbane towards the Gold Coast. The people at Gasoline Alley have to be the most helpful Harley dealers in Brisbane. They registered the bike in my name the day it arrived in Brisbane, nothing was too much trouble for them. Then after some photos, I rode off into the sunset.......

Well thats what they do in the movies.

We are heading back to the US on 16 Jan for another 6 months and my son is looking after Black Jack which will be locked away in a secure garage under his house.

All the best to you and your family for the festive season and have a great, safe and healthy 2014.
