First Session, Day 3 of Lords Test

Me after the Days Play

It has finally come. After spending a fortune and waiting so long the day I have been waiting for has come. Australia vs England in Cricket at Lords. What true blue Aussie could ask for anything more.

Got up nice and early to meet my friend Beth at the train station. A few stops later and a short walk we where heading to the holy ground that is Lords. The people heading towards the ground where not your usual people dressed in bright colours holding flags etc. As I soon found out when we found our seat and I was showing Beth what it said on my scarf. A man came over to me and said there is no scarf waving allowed. sorry!!!

The seats we had where awsome, well worth it. We where in row 19 about behind a square third man, at the media centre end. After Australia scored some runs then it was time for the boys to get stuck into the English batters, and stuck into them they did. There was an early end to the game becasue of rain but other than that an absolute great day out.

After the game Beth and I meet one of Beth's friends, Felicia(She was visiting from Dubai) at Beth's local pub and drank and sung kareoke into the early hours of the morning.
