Today we took a drive to Mt. Lemmon. This is a mountain in the Santa Catalina Range north of Tucson. The drive took about an hour and a half up the mountain with lots of twists and turns. But, the scenery was worth the trip. It is amazing how much the view changes with each bend in the road. One goes from desert with prickly pear and yuccas, to mountain side covered with saguaro cacti, and then to scrubby conifers, finally to pine trees and distant views of Tucson below the mountain!

We are not sure what is on tap for tomorrow, but I am sure we will figure it out tomorrow!

Later.
