Yesterday we had an unexpected visitor to the Spectra Point Lookout about lunch time. This 4 yr old condor flew in and rested on a limestone pillar just the other side of the railing about 8 feet away. He sat there for about 45 mins checking out the crowd that had gathered that was watching him. At times he closed his eyes and basked in the warmth of the sun. Then he lifted a talon, opened his wings and soared off across the amphitheater. Wow, that was a first!

Today was our last work day for this summer. It sure was a quick summer. We will finalize our packing tomorrow, do the last bit of laundry and turn in our camp host "stuff". Now that we have been dry for 5 days, I'm hoping to get a chance to take a drive to check out the aspen trees. They are turning colors!

We will be heading to Snow Canyon, Zion & Valley of Fire to relax, explore and have a good time. Stay tuned for pictures...
