Day 34 - Ticonderoga, NY 9/15/2013

Now I know the difference between rving and camping. It has been awhile since I have been camping. I forgot how noisy it could be. There were a bunch of kids in the area where we are. One of them cried constantly the whole time he was awake, and got up this morning doing the same thing. We took off early this morning to go up to Ft. Ticonderoga. We picked a good weekend to be here. The re-enactment team was here all weekend. It was pretty cool seeing all their camps setup and seeing everyone in period costume. They even did a couple of battle re-enactments. It really made the visit more interesting. Not only did they know the history of the units they were attached to, but they were also knowlegable about the history of the fort. Pretty good since they only come to the fort once a year. Afterwards we went out to dinner on the local cuisine. Thankfully when we returned home, all our neighbors had gone home. It should be a peaceful night tonite!
