Well, we've been celebrating my birthday for the past 4 days (it was on the 3rd) with various family & friends. How cool is that! I think maybe this will be my last one! No, I don't plan on going anywhere, I've just reached the 'maybe we should skip it this year?' decade...LOL

A ton of friends all gathered at the Naked Winery last night for open mic and most importantly to celebrate Brad's birthday. Rose runs the deli/bakery here in Custer and she brought the cutest cake ever. The tent even lit up! Too cute. I baked German chocolate cupcakes to add to the mix as well.

There were plenty of musicians in the crowd and most of them took turns playing. Three hours just flew by. Our buddy Steve Gardner didn't play but we plan to hear him on Wednesday. Anyway, it was a great evening all the way around!

Tonight we'll be in Deadwood attending a Don Williams concert. I've always enjoyed his music so it should be lots of fun. There are 12 of us going and we're all going out to dinner at the Horse Creek Inn beforehand. So, guess I'd better close this for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
