|Our first day in Anacortes ended up a fun day, friends, Dave & Carolyn were here and that made up four of the five couples that we traveled to Alaska with in 2010. We had an impromptu dinner in our coach and sent a picture of the group to the missing couple. In 2010 we had all met in Anacortes to start our Alaskan trip. Day two we pretty much laid low because of rain, but day three was a beautiful, 73 degree day. We started the day with a visit to a very large Art & Craft street fair down the main street of Anacortes, from their we went to the local Farmers Market, and ended the day at a pig roast along the river. We also got a boat ride through Anacortes bay in a very rare John Deere Boat! Day three was a kick back day, we all got our coaches a must needed wash, and pretty much took it easy, Day four included a little sightseeing, and ended up with a Pizza night with some friends in a neat spot in La Conner, a neat little town close to Anacortes. Tomorrow we head east back to the heat!, to Twisp Washington for a four night stay.
