Left Boone yesterday in a torrential downpour and traveled most of the day in rain to Sissonville, W. Va.
on our way to Walt's Sr. Games in Cleveland and to see the kids. By the time we got to Rippling Waters campground
at exit 16 on I-77, the rain was gone and clear skies. Nice site #10 by the big pond, home to lots of swans and ducks.
Full service, peaceful country setting for $25. We were happy. Good satellite and Verizon card working. Buddy, Pal and
Rose remembering the routine from last winter and even though they might like it better at home, they love being with us
all the time and all the new smells and walks for the dogs.
Traveling up I-77 in beautiful Sunday weather, we anticipate a 2 pm arrival at Pier-lon campground, our first time there.
So, lets hope it doesn't disappoint.
