these were taken on a back road we found ...

Alaska is so beautiful and green this time of year ... about 18 hours of sunlight right now and only 4-5 hours of almost darkness ... it makes the plants really grow and thrive. The lovely pink long stems are called Fireweed, the state flower, and they grow in great profusion everywhere ... small streams stretch thru green valleys covered with all colors of flowers ... words don't do it justice. The forests and woods are also lush and green ... many kinds of ferns were growing everywhere ... and look at the small orange house and the roof ... see the grass growing up there? Then there are the hills and mountains ... waterfalls, green valleys that look like velvet ... you certainly can see the Hand of God in this beautiful, fertile place. Thank you Lord for allowing me to see Your handiwork ...
