We met the triplets for breakfast at the Duncan House Café, stopped at the Visitor’s Center for one more shopping spree, and hugged them all good-bye. When we got home, we found that the laundry was empty, so we soon had 3 washers going full speed. While the laundry worked for us, we relaxed, worked on the trailer getting things back into order and general tidying. We readied the freezer for the fish.
After a small bite of lunch, we shopped at the grocery for lunch-makings, and picked up the halibut, getting it all into the freezer in good shape. It was fun to watch the rodeo in the afternoon – the entrance and parking of an entire caravan of folks. This caravan leader was really good at his job, so the rodeo was pretty calm, unlike yesterday, when the parking was a real circus!
Dinner was left-overs from Captain Patties, as well as from the rest of the week. We drove out to the spit to check out some new places for the birding tour scheduled for tomorrow, and found some good ones, where we can easily get the 15 passenger van parked and maneuvered. It has been a good day of relaxation.
